Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026
Uninsured America is committed to being usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology. We build aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA and use the APCA perceptual contrast method as an additional check. We do not claim formal certification.
What we do
- Meet AA color-contrast targets, verified for text and interactive elements.
- Provide a visible keyboard focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Offer keyboard, button, and screen-reader alternatives to any drag, hover, or resize action.
- Respect reduced-motion preferences.
- Use semantic landmarks, headings, labels, and skip links.
- Support light, dark, and high-contrast (antique) themes.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is never “done.” We test with automated and manual checks and fix issues as we find them. If something isn’t working for you, please tell us.
